The price of chicken eggs has plunged, according to the Nepal Egg Producers Association.
As per the new rate, the price of a crate of big eggs is fixed at Rs 350 and medium at Rs 330 against Rs 365 for big eggs and Rs 350 for medium-sized eggs in the past.The egg price, revised by making Chitwan district as a basis, is aimed at maintaining uniformity in the price of egg, said Association Chair Shiva Ram KC. The daily average production of eggs in the district stands at 900 thousand, informed KC. RSS
